Sam is a project director at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. His work focuses on innovation projects that leverage technology, behavioral insights, and educational best practices. Prior to joining Annenberg, he served as a Senior Research Fellow and project manager at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Student Social Support R&D Lab. His work is driven and informed by his experiences in classrooms and schools as a special educator, coach, and leader in his hometown of Washington, DC.
Sam holds an Ed.M. in Education Policy and Management from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, an M.A in Special Education from American University, and a B.A. in History from the University of Wisconsin.
