Fatou Diokhane is first generation Senegalese-American who spent her early elementary school years in Senegal before permanently moving to the South Bronx. Fatou has spent the last four years in upstate New York completing her undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Africana Studies at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, graduating Magna Cum Laude in May 2023. Fatou is grateful and excited to join the UEP cohort and looks forward to learning alongside cohort members. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, trying new cuisines, hiking, and exploring new places!
