Research Program AssociateEmma Zorfass is a Research Program Associate at the Annenberg Institute, where she works with Professor John Papay. Her current work focuses on the effects of standardized assessment policies on students’ long-term outcomes in the state of Massachusetts. Her research interests include the economics of education and the transition from high school to higher education. She holds an M.A. in Education Policy from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also graduated from the University of Michigan in 2017 with a B.A. in Public Policy. Prior to joining Annenberg, she was a Research Assistant at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education at Teachers College.
