Doctoral Student Affiliate
Diana Gandara is a PhD student in the Department of Sociology at Brown. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Sociology, with a secondary in Educational Studies, at Harvard College in May 2024. Her research interests include education, immigration, social mobility, and labor markets. As a Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellow, Diana’s research focused on the experiences of post-DACA, fully-undocumented individuals in higher education and their transition out of college. In her free time, she enjoys running, dancing, watching her favorite shows and listening to podcasts.
