Alvin Christian was a Research Analyst in Brown University’s Department of Education, where he works with Professor Matthew Kraft studying teacher evaluation practices and teacher labor markets. He also works in the Annenberg Institute as a Communications Coordinator, working with researchers to disseminate research and increase accessibility. His research interests include the economics of education, development economics, and gender equality. Prior to joining Brown, Alvin worked at MDRC doing early childhood education research as a statistical programmer. He graduated from CUNY City College of New York in 2016 with a BA/MA in Economics.
