Justin B. Doromal is a Research Associate at the Urban Institute's Center on Labor, Human Services, and Population, former Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University and is also affiliated with the Study of Early Education through Partnerships research team at the University of Virginia.. His research focuses on policies and interventions that promote stability and well-being for young children and the individuals who teach and care for them. His current projects explore how organizational stability and working conditions influence teaching and learning in early childhood education settings. He is also interested in supporting families' early childhood education decision-making, including their search for and participation in these programs.
Justin holds a PhD in Education Policy from the University of Virginia. He also holds a Master of Public Policy and a Master of Education from the University of Virginia, as well as a BA in Mathematics from the University of South Florida. Prior to graduate school, Justin was the assistant director of an after-school educational program in Tampa, Florida.
