Julian Culver, Ph.D.

Research Scientist

Julian Culver is a Research Scientist at Brown University’s Annenberg Institute and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. His research examines how institutional initiatives and sociopolitical shifts shape attitudes, belonging, and access to opportunity. His current projects explore the social consequences of changing campus demographics in the context of recent legal and political developments. His work has been published in Sociology of Religion, Sociological Perspectives, Sociological Inquiry, Journal of Social and Personal Relationships, Socius, Du Bois Review, among others. He earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from Rice University in 2022.
