Research Program Associate
Alan Perez is a Research Program Associate in Brown University’s Annenberg Institute, where he works with Professor John Papay. His current work focuses on the effects of standardized assessment policies on students’ long-term outcomes in the state of Massachusetts. He is interested in formal education’s role in economic inequality and higher education’s role in shaping the modern economy. He graduated from Northwestern University in 2020 with a B.S. in Education and Social Policy, dual major in economics and minor in political science.
